These Terms and Conditions govern your use of recordcow.com and purchases from Neural Sauce LLC, doing business as Record Cow (“Record Cow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Record Cow is not a separate legal entity. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Ordering and payment
Prices are in U.S. dollars. Your card is charged in full at checkout, including preorders. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your full card number. If a listing contains an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the order, refund you in full, and email you.
Preorders
Charging your card at checkout is what claims your copy from the distributor before their order deadline. You can cancel for a full refund any time before the cancel-by date shown on the listing. If a release date slips, we email you and you choose: keep the order or cancel for a full refund. If a release is cancelled or our allocation isn’t filled, we refund you in full automatically. Shipping
We ship within the United States only, from New Orleans. Shipping costs are shown at checkout. Preorders ship on or before the street date.
Taxes
Orders shipped to Louisiana are charged state and local sales tax on items and shipping, as the law requires.
Returns and refunds
Our Refunds & Returns Policy is part of these terms. In short: sealed records return within 30 days, damaged or defective records are replaced or refunded in full, and preorders cancel freely until the cancel-by date.
Product descriptions
We describe records as accurately as we can. Sealed copies stay sealed: when we can’t verify a pressing variant without opening the shrinkwrap, the listing says so and we don’t promise a color or edition.
The site
The site and its content belong to us or our licensors. Album artwork and artist names belong to their owners and appear here to identify the records we sell. Don’t misuse the site or interfere with its operation.
Disclaimers and liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability on any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights the law gives you that can’t be waived.
Governing law
Louisiana law governs these terms. Disputes belong to the state or federal courts serving Orleans Parish, Louisiana.
